What to Expect: Our Whitetail hunts currently all take place in unit 3. (Click Unit 3 for KS state deer information) We currently run on 5,000 plus private acres and are a 100% fair chase operation. Our seasons run from the middle of September all the way to the end of December. Season dates / prices vary depending on weapon used. Crossbows are legal equipment for archery seasons in KS. Our properties consist of creek bottom's that are full of cottonwoods. Cedar rows, cropland, food plots, ponds, and crp are spread throughout many of our private leases. We manage many different farms which allows us to spread our clients out, while keeping pressure very low. Box blinds, pop ups, and ladder stands are our main source of attack when it comes to hunting our properties. Many setups will be over food plots, feeders, or pinch points that are surrounded by crops and cover. Every off-season we pull trail cameras and add them to Dropbox files to be sent to you, via email. If you'd like to be added to our Dropbox list please go over to our contact page and send us your email. Now heads up, Kansas is a draw state. The draw period begins April 1st of every year. First time draw success for us, with NO preference point averages at about 85%. Groups of 5 and be added together in the tag drawing process which is called the buddy system. This means all it takes is one of the group members to draw, resulting in the rest of the group being granted their tags. If unsuccessful though, you will gain a point that will be used for the following year. This ensures that you draw your tag that next year. When it comes to Deposits with this draw system, we do require a 25% non returnable deposit to holds dates. The other 25% is due after a successful draw in May / June. Then the other 50% is not due until your arrival. Now, if you have a deposit down and do not draw that year, we carry over your deposit and dates into the following year along with your gainned point. As far as harvest standards, we do not have any trophy fees or size restrictions. Our biggest thing is maturity of the buck you wish to shoot. We like to take good mature deer as it is key for us moving forward on our health and growing program. We know that this probably doesn't answers all the questions you may have, so please, reach out to us so we can help you make the right decision and feel completely comfortable in choosing us as your next hunting destination.
